An Israeli patrol storms the town of Al-Samadaniyah in Quneitra countryside
An Israeli patrol entered the town of Al-Samadaniyah Al-Sharqiyah in the central countryside of Quneitra, at dawn on Wednesday, June 3, and set up a temporary checkpoint and searched passers-by and vehicles before leaving the site, according to local sources.
The sources added that the incursion came hours after an Israeli patrol incurred a night incursion into the area of Mazraat Ain al-Qadi in the southern countryside of Quneitra, where the occupation forces carried out searches of a number of houses without registering arrests, in conjunction with the monitoring of intensive flights of Israeli reconnaissance aircraft over the airspace of the Quneitra countryside and the northern countryside of Daraa.
The Israeli occupation forces arrested, after midnight on Monday, a young man from the village of Ein Ziwan in the southern countryside of Quneitra, during a military incursion operation in which about 10 military vehicles participated, which included raiding a number of houses before the withdrawal of the force from the area, according to local sources to "Al-Syria" News.
The sources pointed to the incursion of Israeli vehicles into the area of Talat al-Diriyat, west of the village of Al-Muallaqa in the southern countryside of Quneitra, a former Syrian military point located near the 1974 disengagement line, as part of repeated military movements in the area during the recent period.
A young man was injured and a fire was killed in Israeli incursions over the weekend
A fire broke out on Monday, June 1, in the villages of Al-Masritiyah and Saisun in the area of the Yarmouk basin in the western countryside of Daraa, following Israeli artillery shelling, followed by gunfire, according to local sources.
The sources stated that the Syrian Civil Defense forces extinguished and controlled the fire and prevented it from spreading to nearby fields and lands, noting that the damaged area is at least 3 dunams of agricultural land.
On Sunday, May 31, 2026, a young man was wounded by the bullets of an Israeli occupation army patrol that penetrated into the Wadi Al-Raqqad area and shot at a shepherd, which led to him being shot in the thigh and right arm, where UNIFIL forces provided the necessary first aid to the injured young man before transferring him to Nawa Hospital in Daraa Governorate to complete treatment and receive medical care.
700 Israeli Violations in Southern Syria
According to a statistic issued by Golan FM, the occupation army carried out more than 700 incursions with hundreds of cars and thousands of soldiers in clear violation of the 1974 disengagement agreement, which Israel has declared its collapse since the fall of the former Syrian regime in December 2024.
The radio pointed out in its statistics that the Israeli occupation abducted about 197 Syrians from the southern regions, including civilians and children, 43 of whom are still in detention so far, amid the lack of accurate information about the fate of a number of them.
Humanitarian organizations confirm that some detainees have been transferred to prisons inside the occupied Palestinian territory, including Sde Timan and Kitzioot prison in the Negev, under conditions of detention described as harsh and uncontrolled by international control.
