The head of the fifth block in Aleppo, Dr. Haitham Al-Hashimi, announced the inclusion of 200 qualified engineers in the cadres of the Aleppo City Council, as part of a plan to restructure the service work and raise the level of performance in the next phase.

 

During his meeting with a number of residents of Al-Hamdaniya neighborhood, Al-Hashemi explained that this step comes within a  "new phase" through which the city seeks to recover its health, pointing out that work is being done in parallel to amend a number of laws and legislation in line with the requirements of development and reconstruction.

 

Al-Hashimi revealed that a large project is under construction that is expected to provide more than 320,000 job opportunities, considering that this project will be a turning point to improve the living conditions of the people in Aleppo.

 

Al-Hashemi spoke about a plan to organize the informal stalls and turn them into organized bazaars that allocate specific days in each neighborhood to ensure the preservation of the livelihoods of their owners and restore discipline to the streets.

 

At the end of the meeting, al-Hashimi stressed that work is ongoing to implement security and service plans, stressing that the voice of the people "will remain an essential part of the decision-making process within the fifth bloc."
