Al-Hilali: We are working to end the file of SDF detainees before Eid al-Adha

Ahmed al-Hilali, spokesman for the presidential team in charge of following up on the implementation of the January 29 agreement with the SDF, announced that the Syrian government is working intensively to close the file of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) detainees.
Al-Hilali confirmed in a statement to the North Press Agency that the competent authorities are currently conducting the final census of detainees, with expectations that this file will be completed in its entirety and they will be released before the arrival of Eid al-Adha.
Judiciary and Official Language
Regarding the controversy raised over the judicial palace in Hasakah, al-Hilali stressed that the case is "purely legal", explaining that the judicial palace represents a sovereign symbol of the judicial authority.
He pointed out that work will continue in accordance with the laws in force that stipulate that the Arabic language is the only official language of the state, stressing that the Ministry of Justice will address all problems through legal and constitutional frameworks.
Kurdish Language and National Recognition
Al-Hilali praised the "Decree 13" issued by President Ahmed al-Shara, describing it as a historic step towards the Kurdish component, as he considered the Kurdish language a "national language" and allowed it to be learned and taught.
Al-Hilali revealed that this trend has begun to be translated into reality on the ground through the adoption of bilingual signs (Arabic and Kurdish) in a number of official institutions in al-Hasakah province.
"Nationality" files
Regarding the outstanding historical issues such as the 1962 census and the "Arab Belt", al-Hilali explained that the effects of the census are being addressed by granting citizenship to those who were known as "foreigners and those who are unregistered" under the recent presidential decrees.
Al-Hilali said that as for the "Arab Belt" file, he confirmed that it will be addressed through legal paths that allow citizens to review the judiciary as soon as the integrated justice system in the governorate is activated.
Securing the return of displaced people
Al-Hilali linked the return of the displaced people of Ras al-Ain to the provision of a stable security environment, noting that work is underway to overcome the security concerns of both parties.
Al-Hilali stressed that the solution lies in completing the process of integrating "Asayish" elements into the internal security forces of the Syrian Ministry of Interior, to strengthen security capabilities and ensure the protection of returnees.
