After careful observation. Arrest of suspects involved in a series of robberies in Hama

As part of its ongoing efforts to control security and prosecute outlaws, the Ministry of Interior announced that its police units have succeeded in arresting an organized gang of five people in the city of Hama.
The arrest followed close monitoring and intensive security follow-up of the activity of the gang members, who were engaged in stealing shops and motorcycles in the city and its surroundings, which caused concern among commercial activists and residents.
Thousands of dollars worth of stolen seizures
The security raid resulted in the seizure of a large group of car spare parts and maintenance that were in the possession of the arrestees, with a total value estimated at about 10,000 US dollars.
These seizures reveal the extent of the gang's criminal activity and its specialization in targeting spare parts of high material value to dispose of them in the markets illegally.
Confessions of a series of large-scale thefts
During the initial investigations, the five detainees confessed to carrying out a wide series of thefts involving about 15 motorcycles in various areas of Hama governorate. Based on these confessions, the competent authorities were able to locate some of the stolen vehicles and recover part of the lost motorcycles in preparation for handing them over to their owners in accordance with legal procedures.
Completion of legal procedures
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the necessary legal seizures have been organized against all gang members, and their confessions and seizures have been documented, and it is planned that those involved will be referred to the competent judiciary to receive their just punishment.
