After a tragic accident. A Turkish father donates his daughter's organs and excludes her eyes

 In a scene that blends the highest meanings of sacrifice with the deepest pain of loss, Turkish father Ahmet Torun wrote a human story that shook his conscience, after he decided to turn the tragedy of the passing of his 16-year-old daughter "Tuana" into a lifeline for other patients, with the only exception of a piece of her body that his heart could not say goodbye to.

The 16-year-old girl was involved in a car accident in the northern Turkish city of Giresun last Saturday evening, after being hit by a car, where she was taken to hospital, before doctors announced her brain dead on Monday.

Her father, Ahmed Torun, announced that he agreed to donate all the organs of his daughter's body, with the aim of saving patients waiting to receive human organs, but he decided to exclude her eyes, explaining that he considered them "the light of his eyes."

The father, in interviews with local media, said that he had great love for his daughter, and was unable to donate her eyes because of his emotional attachment to her, as he used to describe her as the light of his eyes.

The father also sent a message to patients who will undergo organ transplants from his daughter's body, calling on them to be faithful, avoid offending others, and control their actions and words.

He explained that those who receive his daughter's organs will realize how special she is, and they will feel it closely with each breath.

The father's decision regarding his daughter's eyes, along with his message to the beneficiaries of its members, sparked a wide reaction on social media, with many expressing their sympathy for him in this situation.

The late girl Tawana was known in Turkey before the incident, against the background of a complaint filed by her family recently against the mayor of a local municipality where her mother works, accusing him of harassing her on social media.
