After 7 lean years. Al-Nasr regains the Saudi league title
Al-Nasr deservedly won the Saudi Pro League title for the current season 2025-2026 after beating Damak.
Al-Nasr defeated Damak 4-1 in the match that brought them together in the 34th (last) round of the Saudi Professional League, to secure the lead away from the fangs of its neighbor Al-Hilal, the historical champion.

Al-Nasr swept its guest Damak with 4 goals, scored by Sadio Mane, Kingsley Coman and Cristiano Ronaldo (two goals), against a single goal by Morlay Sylla, to regain the Saudi league title after a 7-year absence.
This title became Al-Nasr's eleventh in its history in the Saudi league in general, and the fourth in the professional era after the years 2014, 2015 and 2019.
With this crowning, Al-Alami strengthened its position in the historic list of Saudi champions throughout the ages in third place, with a difference of 3 titles behind the runner-up Al-Ittihad, and 10 titles behind the leader Al-Hilal.
This is Al-Nassr's first title in the tournament in 7 seasons, specifically when they won the championship in the 2018-2019 season under the leadership of Portugal's Rui Vitoria, making up for their loss of the AFC Champions League 2 at the same stadium against Japan's Gamba Osaka on Saturday.
The victory raised Al-Nasr's balance to 86 points at the top of the Saudi league table, two points ahead of runners-up Al-Hilal.
On the other hand, Damak's balance was frozen at 29 points, confirming its relegation to the First Division League (Yellow League), and Riyadh survived after beating Al-Khoud.
Al-Hilal defeats Al-Fayhaa
While Al-Hilal achieved a victory over its counterpart Al-Fayhaa with a goal without reply, in the match that brought them together yesterday evening, Thursday, to fail to achieve the Saudi league title after Al-Nasr defeated Damak by a quadruple.
Al-Hilal's only goal against Al-Fayhaa was scored by Salem Mandash, in the third minute of the start of the first half and the match. With this result, Al-Hilal raised its score to 84 points, in second place in the Saudi league standings, while Al-Fayha's balance was frozen at 38 points in tenth place in the standings.
