In a remarkable humanitarian step, Syrian star Anahid Fayyad and her husband, former Jordanian minister Muthanna al-Gharaibeh, have taken the decision to donate the organs of their late son Karam, with the aim of giving a new life to a number of patients in need.
This humanitarian initiative, which came despite the great tragedy that befell the family, received wide praise and great interaction through the media and social media platforms, with many expressing their appreciation for this noble attitude.
Official investigations in Amman showed that Karam ended his life by throwing himself from the top of the Abdoun Bridge, while messages circulating on social media revealed that he was suffering from a deep psychological crisis, and in his last post, he wrote touching words in which he expressed the loss of passion for life and the connection of his decision to philosophical convictions about the idea of immortality.
It is worth mentioning that some followers linked his thoughts to his influence on some electronic games intended for an age group older than his age, as he was only about 15 years old, and despite these circumstances, the family chose to turn their loss into a new hope for others, in a situation that reflects the power of will and humanity amid loss and pain.
