A health crisis hits Real Madrid... Asensio hospitalized with acute inflammation

Real Madrid player Raul Asensio was admitted to hospital on Saturday after his health deteriorated significantly, following a severe gastroenteritis that led to him losing six kilograms of weight in just two weeks.

According to Radio "Kobe", Asensio is currently undergoing careful medical examinations to determine the type of virus causing the case, after he showed extreme fatigue during the team's last training session before traveling to Munich last Monday, which prevented him from participating in training under the supervision of Arbeloa, before his condition deteriorated further, necessitating his transfer to the hospital.

This is Asensio's fourth absence this season due to health problems related to viruses or digestive disorders, which raises concerns about his physical condition and ability to maintain his format.

Journalist Miguel Ángel Diaz confirmed that the player will also not be ready to face Alavés next Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabéu, but Asensio hopes to recover quickly and return to the squad before next Friday's clash with Real Betis at La Cartuja, if his health permits.
