A black night for adults... Barcelona and Liverpool collapse against Atletico and Paris

The second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals saw two of the continent's biggest giants fall after Barcelona lost at home to Atletico Madrid, and Liverpool lost in Paris to Saint-Germain, on a night that confirmed the organization's superiority over the big names.

At the Camp Nou, Atletico took advantage of defender Pau Cobiarci's dismissal in the 44th minute, with Julian Alvarez scoring the lead in the 45th minute, before Alexander Sorloth added a second goal in the 70th minute, giving his side a valuable advantage before the second leg.

In Paris, Saint-Germain dominated from the start, with Désirée Doy opening the scoring in the 11th minute, and then Kvaratskhelia adding a second goal in the 65th minute, amid Liverpool's apparent inability to keep up with the hosts' fast pace.

With these results, Barcelona and Liverpool enter the second leg under heavy pressure, while Atletico and Paris approach the semi-finals, with the decision still hanging on the return legs.
