The Israeli occupation forces escalated their military operations in southern Lebanon by launching a wide and violent wave of airstrikes and artillery shelling, as they carried out more than 61 attacks, distributed between 41 airstrikes and 17 concentrated artillery fires, which resulted in the death of 11 citizens and the wounding of 13 others, amid a remarkable focus on targeting medical teams and ambulance centers.
Targeting medical staff
A raid on the triangle of "Burj Rahal Deir Qanun al-Nahr al-Abbasiya" led to the death of 6 citizens, including two paramedics, and the wounding of 6 others while they were trying to transport the wounded of a previous raid, in conjunction with the killing of 4 medics and the wounding of two others in the town of Hinawiya as a result of two raids that targeted a center and a center belonging to the "Islamic Health Commission".
The airstrikes also completely destroyed the "Crete Building" at dawn today and leveled it to the ground in the center of the city of Tyre near the Bitar station, following sudden night evacuation alarms that caused suffocating traffic congestion and panic among residents, which led to the damage of dozens of nearby houses and the cutting off of water and electricity networks and internal roads in the neighborhoods.
Another Israeli raid caused severe and structural damage to the "Hiram" hospital in the district of Tyre after targeting a threatening building near it, which resulted in the destruction of operating rooms, injuring corridors and clinics, and shattering the entire glass of the building amid a state of alert for the civil defense teams, while the targeting extended to the district of Nabatieh with 8 raids, one of which destroyed a residential building in the "Kassar Zaatar" neighborhood, and another targeted a car in the commercial market, which led to the death of a citizen and the wounding of two.
Targeting workers and field combing operations
The field area of artillery shelling expanded to include the towns of Al-Ghandouriya, Tabnin, Haddaha, Mifdoun, Yahmar Al-Shuqif, Al-Qilila, and Tulin, while the town of Khiam in the district of Marjayoun witnessed house bombings and intensive combing with heavy machine guns, in parallel with the intensive flight of the occupation drones at a very low altitude over the capital Beirut and the southern suburbs.
An Israeli drone killed a worker and injured others after they were targeted by two raids in one of the orchards of the town of Al-Bazouria, while they were practicing their work in picking lemons, where it turned out that the victims were workers of the "North Tower" camp, and the ambulance teams of the Al-Risala Association and the Health Authority transferred the injured to the "Lebanese-Italian" and "Jabal Amel" hospitals to treat them and deposit the martyr Al-Barad.
Hezbollah missile responses and alert in the north
Hezbollah carried out more than 19 intensive military operations against the positions and gatherings of the Israeli occupation army, announcing the targeting of 9 concentrations of soldiers, 6 military sites, and 3 vehicles, and confirming the successful response with a surface-to-air missile to an Israeli drone of the "Heron 1" type and forcing it to leave the airspace of the Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon, which in turn was subjected to five raids targeting the area of Nabi Sreij in the outskirts of the town of Brital in the eastern chain.
In this context, the Israeli army announced the sound of sirens 10 times in the northern areas and the warning of the risk of collisions, following a successive wave of puff drones launched from southern Lebanon, including 6 warnings that were activated in less than one hour, reflecting the practical collapse of the truce agreement in force since April 17 in areas that were considered safe from strikes.
Lebanese sources confirm that the repeated Israeli targeting of the centers of the Islamic Health Commission and the "Al-Risala Ambulance Association", in addition to the damage to vital hospitals such as Hiram Hospital, represents an extension of Tel Aviv's policy of maximum military pressure.
The sources said that the bombing of buildings deep in the city of Tyre after midnight evacuation warnings reflects a dangerous shift that practically ends the effects of the fragile truce announced on April 17th, and turns the diplomatic agreement into a cover for expanding the area of ground and air operations.
The sources pointed out that Hezbollah's 19 operations and drone penetrations in the occupied north of Palestine represent a complex tactical tool for Israeli air defense systems.
