Israeli airstrikes kill 6 martyrs in Lebanon

On the other hand, the National News Agency announced that  6 people were killed and 3 others were wounded in a series of Israeli raids on several towns in the districts of Nabatieh, Bint Jbeil, Tyre and Jezzine.

In the town of Kafrsir (Nabatieh district), a warplane targeted a house in the Al-Mahfara neighborhood, killing  four members of the same family, including a woman and a child, and wounding two others.

An Israeli drone also targeted a motorcycle in the town of Faroun (Bint Jbeil district), which led to the death of one person, in conjunction with raids on the towns of Faroun and Kafra.

In a separate incident, a Lebanese man died of his injuries after a car belonging to the municipality of Harouf was targeted while the municipality's team was preparing to distribute bread to the residents, while municipality member Jaafar al-Shami was stablely wounded.

The airstrikes also affected other areas, including al-Shihabiya in the district of Tyre, and the al-Rihan heights in Jezzine, in addition to artillery shelling on the Rayed Dibin in the district of Marjayoun. A site in the Ma'shouq area near the city of Tyre was targeted by two missiles after an earlier warning to evacuate.

Hebrew media: Hezbollah drones restrict 80% of Israel's operations in the south

In a remarkable development, Israel's official broadcaster acknowledged that Hezbollah's booby-trapped drones have become a "major challenge" to the Israeli military, limiting 80 percent of its freedom of action in southern Lebanon.

The army is now avoiding many of its operations during daylight hours for fear of being targeted, the commission said, citing a lack of countermeasures distributed "to a limited number of soldiers in each company."

Sources in Israeli military intelligence said Hezbollah had switched to guerrilla warfare through small cells moving between villages and carrying out lightning strikes, which it attributed to the "elimination of prominent commanders in the Radwan force" over the past months.

On Monday (May 18th), Hezbollah announced that it had carried out 11 drone and missile attacks on Israeli positions and vehicles in southern Lebanon and northern Israel, in response to what it described as "bloody violations" of the ceasefire.
