5 killed in Gaza. Israel continues to "violate the ceasefire"
On Sunday, 5 Palestinian citizens were killed as a result of shelling and shooting operations carried out by the Israeli occupation army in various areas of the Gaza Strip, raising the death toll since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 11 last to 811.
On the ground, reports monitored the Israeli occupation army's erection of cement blocks east of the "Kuwaiti Roundabout" in order to expand the so-called "Yellow Line", coinciding with artillery shelling and heavy gunfire from military vehicles east of Khan Younis and Al-Bureij camp, in continuous violations of the agreement in force for months.
Ministry of Health Report and Cumulative Results
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that two deaths and 11 injuries arrived at hospitals during the past 24 hours, noting that the total toll since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,587 dead and 172,381 injured.
The ministry confirmed that thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, with rescue crews unable to reach them.
In the West Bank, the occupation forces and settler groups carried out extensive razing and uprooting of olive trees in Jenin, Nablus and Ramallah, where the lands of "Khirbet Suruj" near Al-Yamoun were razed in preparation for the construction of a new settlement, and in Nablus, olive trees were uprooted in the town of Burqa, northwest of the city, under the protection of military bulldozers.
Settlers also cut down more than 400 olive trees in the plain of the town of Turmusaya in Ramallah.
Release of prisoners with critical health conditions
On Sunday evening, the occupation authorities released 15 prisoners from the Gaza Strip through the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The released detainees arrived at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah, where medical sources confirmed that they are suffering from difficult health conditions, the effects of physical torture, and severe malnutrition as a result of the harsh conditions of detention that have lasted for several months since the ground incursion into the Gaza Strip.
