5 absences from Barcelona and Real Madrid in the Clásico

Barcelona will play a match against Osasuna before the Clasico, while Real Madrid will play Espanyol, in the 34th round of  the Spanish league.

According to the French network "lnstant foot", the absence of a set of key pillars from Real Madrid's roster has been confirmed, which will be missing striker  Rodrigo Joyce, defender Eder Militão, as well as young talent Arda Güler.

The absence  of Spanish international Lamine Yamal and Portuguese full-back Joao Cancelo from Barcelona has been confirmed, while  a state of anticipation prevails for the positions of 3 of the giants' most important players, as their absence or participation has not yet been confirmed: Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid), Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid) and Raphinha (Barcelona).

Julian Alvarez responds to news of his move to Barcelona

Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez has responded to the news linking him to a move to Barcelona during the upcoming summer mercato.

It was previously reported that Alvarez's family was in Barcelona last week in order to choose the house he would live in after signing with Barça, and Alvarez's agent came out to deny these reports, stressing that they are just lies.

Asked about the news of his move to Barcelona, Alvarez said: "I try not to give importance to what is being said, every week new things and new information appear, I try not to waste my energy on that, I focus on what we do, it's the most important moment of the season and I want to be okay to be able to help the team and achieve great things here."

He added: "Can the rumors be denied? I can't go out all the time to clarify and refute anything that comes up. I try not to give importance to social media because it becomes a ball of lies. I don't use my energy on that, I save it for the things that matter to me and to help the team."

Alvarez is under contract with Atletico Madrid until the summer of 2030, with a market value of €90 million.
