4 Palestinians Martyred in Israeli Occupation Shelling in East Gaza

Four Palestinian security and police officers were martyred at dawn on Sunday, after Israeli shelling targeted a gathering of citizens in the vicinity of Shawa Square, east of Gaza City.
According to medical sources, the martyrs were Ahmed Abu Shawish, Mohammed Al-Swerki, Ramzi Al-Shawa and Mustafa Al-Sakani, and they arrived at the hospital and died of their injuries.
Escalation targeting security infrastructure in the Gaza Strip
Government sources in Gaza indicate that the occupation has recently intensified its targeting of security and police forces, in an attempt to create chaos and confuse the internal situation, in parallel with the continuation of intermittent shelling in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
The sources pointed out that the occupation army continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in force since last October, which led to the deaths of hundreds of martyrs and wounded, as these violations have become part of a daily scene that exacerbates the humanitarian situation and increases the suffering of the population.
A new rise in the toll of the war of extermination
In a related context, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll of the Israeli war of extermination has risen to more than 72,000, after the martyrdom of a Palestinian and the recovery of the bodies of three others during the past 24 hours, noting that rescue teams continue to find the bodies of martyrs in random graves, under the rubble of destroyed houses and in areas that are difficult to reach due to the deployment of the occupation forces.
The ministry points out that the death toll of Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement has risen to hundreds of martyrs and thousands of wounded, at a time when shelling and targeting operations continue that further complicate the security and humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
