200 Israeli raids and attacks on the cities of Tyre and Nabatieh in southern Lebanon

The Israeli occupation army announced the classification of large areas of Lebanese territory south of the Zahrani River as a "combat zone", emptying entire cities and districts through continuous fire belts and mass evacuation warnings, amid indications of extended land expansion, complex political maneuvers linked to the stalled Iranian-American negotiations, and the Trump administration's efforts to conclude parallel understandings.
The Politics of Scorched Earth in Tyre and Nabatieh
On the ground, the Israeli aircraft and artillery carried out more than 200 attacks targeting southern and eastern Lebanon and the border villages, where the cities of Tyre and Nabatieh suffered the largest share of the catastrophic destruction;
IDF Spokesperson Avichai Adrei issued urgent warnings on Thursday morning to residents of the city of Tyre, the camps and surrounding neighborhoods, asking them to evacuate immediately and head north of the Zahrani River, attaching his warnings with maps in which he identified entire buildings in red for allegedly being close to Hezbollah facilities.
After the expiration of the warning period, warplanes and drones launched a series of intensive raids, one of which targeted a residential apartment inhabited by displaced people in the "Al-Qiyaa" area, northeast of the city of Saida, resulting in 4 deaths and severe injuries, as well as the killing of two Lebanese in the town of Ma'araka, and 6 others in a raid on the Adloun highway.
In Tyre, an enemy marcher bombed a motorcycle on the road to the popular residences, killing two people, in conjunction with the complete destruction of residential buildings as a result of 4 raids that targeted the town of Deir al-Zahrani in the Nabatieh district, which caused an impact on entire neighborhoods and caused a state of panic that prompted the disaster management in the municipality of Tyre to appeal to the residents to go immediately to Beirut.
Hezbollahresponds: Armored crew killed and Iron Dome targeted
On the other hand, Hezbollah strongly announced the implementation of 30 qualitative military operations during the last hours against the movements and mechanisms of the occupation, in response to the continuous Israeli violations of Lebanese villages and towns.
The operations were concentrated intensively, with 17 targets in the town of Zutar al-Sharqiyah in Nabatieh governorate, to counter the incursion of the occupation forces on the ground trying to cross the Litani River.
Israeli military censorship allowed the publication of details of a difficult security event in the north, as the newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" confirmed that Hezbollah succeeded in killing an armored crew that included three female soldiers of the Armored Corps, after targeting their advanced position with precise fire and a swarm of booby-trapped drones launched from southern Lebanon.
According to the field investigations, the attack was sudden and direct, which resulted in the destruction of the military post and the death of the female soldiers immediately before the arrival of the rescue helicopters, coinciding with the Israeli army's admission that two other soldiers were injured by an anti-armor missile in the battles in the south, and the party's targeting of the Iron Dome platforms in northern Israel with 6 booby-trapped drones that succeeded in penetrating the defense system and circumventing it.
The last meters race ahead of the Washington negotiations
This large-scale field bombing comes as the capital Beirut and its southern suburbs have been neutralized from Israeli targeting under US pressure, at a time when Tel Aviv and Beirut are preparing to engage in highly sensitive military and political talks in Washington.
A high-level security meeting will begin tomorrow, Friday, at the headquarters of the US Department of Defense "Pentagon", which includes a Lebanese military delegation headed by Director of Operations, Brig. Gen. George Rizkallah, to present the plan to extend the state's authority and control weapons, provided that the talks will be completed with political rounds of negotiation on June 2 and 3.
Israel's Channel 14 quoted intelligence and military estimates that justify this madness on the ground, stressing that the military leadership has received reports that a ceasefire and political restrictions may be imposed "at any moment" as a result of US-Iranian contacts, which pushes the occupation army to try to achieve as much geographical gains as possible, destroy infrastructure, separate and empty the southern sectors, and impose the security belt formula as a fait accompli before any international understandings come into effect.
