2 Palestinians  Killed and 5 Wounded in Gaza by Israeli Shelling and Gunfire

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll due to the ongoing Israeli genocide has risen to 72,941, in addition to 172962 injured since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023, according to the daily statistical report issued by the ministry.

The ministry said that during the past 24 hours, the Gaza Strip hospitals received two martyrs and 40 injured, noting that the actual numbers may be higher due to the presence of victims under the rubble and on the roads, in light of the inability of ambulance and civil defense crews to reach them.

It added that the death toll since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, has reached 932 martyrs and 2859 wounded, while the number of recovered cases has reached 781.

The ministry did not mention the circumstances of the deaths and injuries, while the Israeli army continues its violations of the ceasefire agreement announced since October 10  , 2025, by carrying out shelling and shooting operations.

Gaza: 2 killed and 5 wounded in Israeli shelling and shooting

Two Palestinians were killed and five others were wounded on Tuesday in Israeli shelling and shooting targeting areas in the central and southern Gaza Strip, as part of the ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement announced since October 10, 2025.

In Khan Yunis, a medical source at Nasser Hospital reported that  a  28-year-old Palestinian man was killed by a bullet to the head fired by the Israeli army in the residential city of Hamad.

In Zawaydah in the central Gaza Strip,  a  47-year-old Palestinian was killed and five others were wounded in an Israeli drone strike on a civilian gathering, according to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

The Israeli army also continued to blow up buildings and facilities in areas controlled to the north and south, in addition to artillery shelling of areas south of Khan Younis, according to eyewitnesses.

West Bank: Settlers Write Racist Slogans

In the West Bank, Israeli settlers burned two Palestinian vehicles and shouted racist slogans during their raid into the village of Um Safa, northwest of Ramallah, at dawn on Tuesday,  June 2.

Local sources said that a group of settlers infiltrated into the center of the village after midnight and set fire to two vehicles belonging to Palestinian citizens, which led to them being completely burned. They also wrote racist slogans on the walls of houses and doors.

According to the sources, the village is witnessing repeated attacks by settlers starting from the surrounding outposts, including the burning of property, attacks on residents and the establishment of new outposts.

According to the Committee to Resist the Wall and Settlements, recent months have witnessed a significant escalation in settler attacks in conjunction with the continued settlement expansion and the seizure of more Palestinian land.
