Pilgrims of the Holy House of God conclude their rituals with farewell pilgrimages

On Saturday, May 30, the pilgrims of the Holy House of God concluded their rituals by performing the farewell circumambulation in the Holy Mosque, amid a spiritual atmosphere that overwhelmed the feelings with serenity and reverence, thus turning the page of a journey of faith that spanned days that witnessed a remarkable flow in movement and tight organization in the holy sites.
Saudi official channels reported that since the morning hours, the Grand Mosque has witnessed a continuous flow of pilgrims who performed their last rituals before leaving Mecca.
The conclusion of the rituals came hours after the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah held the annual ceremony "Conclusion of Misk" in the presence of Minister Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, in celebration of the success of the Hajj season of 1447 AH.
Immediate preparations for the upcoming Hajj season
During the ceremony, Al-Rabiah announced the handing over of the document of preliminary arrangements to the offices of Hajj Affairs in preparation for the 1448 AH season, in a step that reflects the Kingdom's orientation towards early readiness and enabling the missions to complete contracts and organizational and service procedures well before the next season.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Ministry confirmed the continuation of work to develop the Hajj system by updating regulations, expanding services, and enhancing integration between security, health and regulatory authorities, in order to ensure a smoother experience for pilgrims in the coming years.
Saudi Arabia declares the success of the Hajj season
Saudi Arabia announced on Friday the success of this year's Hajj season through an integrated system of security, organization and services, which enabled pilgrims to perform the rituals with ease and tranquility, according to the Deputy Governor of Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, in a televised statement on the eve of the completion of the rituals.
According to the Saudi Statistics Authority, the total number of pilgrims this year reached 1,707,301, including 1,546,655 pilgrims from outside the Kingdom belonging to 165 nationalities, compared to 160,646 pilgrims from inside. The figures show a slight increase compared to the 1446 AH season, which recorded 1,673,230 pilgrims, while the figure remains lower than the peak in 2024, which exceeded 1.8 million pilgrims.
With the departure of the last cohorts of pilgrims from Makkah, the Kingdom is entering a new season of Hajj through which it seeks to consolidate an advanced organizational model, and at the same time prepares for a new phase of early planning for the 1448 AH season, in a non-stop journey to serve the guests of the Rahman.
