Two Palestinians , including a child, killed by Israeli gunfire in the West Bank
At dawn on Monday, the occupied Palestinian territories witnessed a violent Israeli escalation on the ground, which resulted in the death of two Palestinians in the West Bank, including a child, in conjunction with a campaign of incursions and widespread arrests that affected several Palestinian cities and towns.
Palestinian security and local sources confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces fired live bullets heavily near the settlement of "Karmei Tzur", which is established on the lands of the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, killing the 15-year-old Reda Sami Hassan Awad and the 19-year-old Issa Arafat Ismail Awad, after the forces let them bleed for a long time and detained their bodies without legal justification.
Two other young men were wounded by live bullets during the same clashes and were immediately taken to hospitals for treatment, where their health condition was described as stable, while the Israeli occupation army claimed that forces affiliated with "Unit 636" fired at Palestinians after they were spotted burning tires and throwing Molotov cocktails towards the settlement, claiming that the operation resulted in the death of two and the wounding of a third.
Their father's systematic demolition policy in the West Bank
In a context related to Bethlehem governorate, the Israeli occupation forces demolished an inhabited house with an area of about 100 square meters owned by the citizen Muhammad Ali Salim Musa in the um Rukba area of the town of Al-Khader, under the pretext of building without obtaining an official permit, after the military vehicles stormed the area and closed it completely amid the escalation of notifications with the aim of putting pressure on the Palestinian presence there.
The campaign of incursions and attacks expanded to include several cities and governorates in the West Bank, where settlers in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorates set fire to a number of Palestinian vehicles in the village of Shaqba, and the forces arrested a citizen during a raid on the village of Rantis, while the city of Nablus witnessed raids that led to the injury of a woman after she was severely beaten in the village of Kafr Qalil, coinciding with the arrest of a young man in Jenin and assaults on a citizen in the town of Saida, north of Tulkarm.
Data from the Palestinian Government Commission for Resistance to the Wall and Settlements showed that the Israeli army and settlers carried out 1659 attacks during the month of May, with 1108 attacks by the army and 551 by settlers, bringing the total number of victims since October 7, 2023 in the West Bank and East Jerusalem to 1171 martyrs and 12,666 wounded, in addition to the arrest of about 23,000 and the displacement of 33,000 citizens.
Ceasefire violated in Gaza and IDP tents targeted
A violent Israeli airstrike has penetrated the calm in the Gaza Strip for months, as a drone targeted a group of citizens west of the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip near the "Dream Palace" hall, killing 8-year-old Julia Al-Balawi while playing in front of her grandfather's tent, and the young man Akram Muhammad Madi, nicknamed "Abu Hamza", and their bodies were transferred and other injured were transferred to Nasser Medical Complex.
Another Palestinian was seriously injured in a separate Israeli airstrike targeting a displacement tent inside the walls of the Ibn Sina school in the al-Nasr neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City, as the Israeli army announced the killing of two Hamas and Islamic Jihad operatives in an attack carried out in the south of the besieged enclave.
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that during the past 24 hours, the hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 9 martyrs and 41 wounded, indicating that the total number of deaths since the entry into force of the fragile ceasefire agreement on October 11, 2025, amounted to 1021 dead, while the number of injured reached 3249, in addition to recording 784 cases of recovery from the rubble.
