Documents expose Fauci's role in funding Wuhan research and hiding the "Corona" leak

Outgoing US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has unveiled declassified official documents and correspondence that shed light on the direct role of Anthony Fauci, an American epidemiologist in funding dangerous genetic research at China's Wuhan laboratory, and his subsequent complicity in obliterating the facts that support the hypothesis of laboratory leaking as the main origin of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a video posted on the X platform, Gabbard confirmed that the former director of the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases used millions of dollars of US taxpayer money to support suspicious genetic experiments in China, the same place that is seen as the main source of the global outbreak.

The U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) has defined "virus augmentation" experiments as a set of dangerous genetic modifications to microorganisms to enhance their biological characteristics, such as increasing the efficiency of transmission and spread or expanding the range of infected hosts to allow them to target new species.

Gabbard accused the former health official of collaborating with politicized elements within the intelligence community to suppress information, noting that the documents contain evidence that Fauci made false information and was under oath before Congress in 2024 when he denied knowledge of intelligence discussions about the origins of the virus.

Fauci's Roles and Whistleblowing

Video statements released by Gabbard's office showed that the declassification was in line with President Donald Trump's directive to achieve maximum transparency in public opinion.

Hundreds of emails revealed that Fauci played three key roles: funding research related to large-scale vaccine projects, influencing the adoption of the hypothesis of natural origin of the virus by experts and advisers close to him, and using his public influence to promote a paper she called "fabricated" to guide the security services' assessments and silence dissenting opinions.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence received live testimonies from several informants within the security services who reported that they had been subjected to reprisals and professional marginalization for adopting the hypothesis of laboratory leakage.

The correspondence observed a systematic pattern of intimidation practiced by senior officials, including threats of denial of promotions, attempts to reveal the identities of confidential whistleblowers despite legal guarantees of their protection, as well as the presence of managers and legal advisers during testimony meetings to create an environment of fear and psychological pressure.

Political battle in Washington

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) statement accompanying the published materials emphasized Fauci's direct role in influencing the assessments of the security services, highlighting allegations of conflicts of interest and illegal communication between health officials and intelligence agencies during investigations.

These resounding intelligence revelations coincided with the current political battle in Washington over who will succeed Gabbard in her sovereign position, reopening the long-standing debate over the legal and moral responsibility for the coronavirus outbreak and the role of U.S. institutions in it.

According to U.S. sources,  the dimensions of this judicial and political standoff in Washington, D.C., have taken root by June 2026 as part of extensive scrutiny of the management of the pandemic crisis that has crippled the world. The disclosure of these emails was linked to the current administration's attempts to anchor the official narrative based on "human and laboratory error," taking advantage of structural changes within the intelligence community to reframe national security reports and identify those responsible for misleading public opinion and Congress over the past years.
